Breaking New Ground has appointed the Big Society Funding CIC team to deliver an ‘Engagement and Legacy Development Project’ over the next two months. As a five-year old Community Interest Company they have a track record of delivering community engagement, consultations and partnership development work in both urban and rural settings; and successful experience of generating fresh income streams, innovation and bringing on-aboard fresh ideas, people and organisations to sustain community-based initiatives.
We are now working closely with the Big Lottery’s ‘Communities Can’ programme, providing packages of support to groups in Peterborough and Barking & Dagenham. This includes the Somali Women’s Association, and issuing a press release to acknowledge their fresh plans for 2016.
Free support and advice to groups in Norfolk: the team now has resources to support and advice up to 8 groups and organisations serving highly disadvantaged communities in Norfolk. There will be no charge to groups. Groups wanting to be considered need to complete a short online form.
Report launched: A study into the State of the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector in Norfolk and Suffolk (commissioned by New Anglia LEP, Norfolk & Suffolk County Councils)
Big Society Funding commissioned to conduct first study into economic importance of Norfolk & Suffolk voluntary organisations.
